does anybody knows there is a bus that runs from westport to louisburgh and clifden and back the same day in march on a tuesday? where can i find timetable? thank you!
It seems unlikely that you can return in one day as the journey times take quite long. Enter your towns in the link and you will get an idea, but it looks doubtful.

As answered elsewhere. The main Bus route goes via the N59 Westport to Clifden so to cover the Doonlough valley section between Loisburgh and Leenane you would need a private driver, cab or the like.
Unfortunately some (most) of the best parts of rural Ireland are not covered by public transport.

You could bus to the rail. Train leaves from Dublin Connolly for Dun Laoghaire on a regular basis...Another great place... more
