I am currently in Istanbul waiting for my visa application to be processed. Has anyone had any recent experience of this. I just wanted to know how long it might take as I'm having to rebook my return flight to Tehran...and the consulate still have my passport
How long have they already had it? Can't help with Istanbul but here in the UK mine took about 2 weeks.

Oops, sorry, please disregard my previous post - I should have opened my eyes and seen that you are asking about obtaining a UK visa in Istanbul. Apologies. I have no idea how long it takes, although I do know that 2 weeks is about the norm for a Russian to obtain a UK visa but this is from Russia, not Istanbul.
