I'll be down there with my fiance (who lives there) and love meeting other visitors. I've spent a lot of time down there and love to help out newcomers. It's also nice to be able to speak English a little when I'm there since most of the time I'm speaking Spanish. It's a wonderful, frontier jungle city, but this is likely my last trip for awhile since my fiance's visa to come to the US was recently approved.
I will be in Lima Jan 2 to Jan 28.

From you posting I see that you have visited Iquitos. We will be visiting in June and plan to stay at one of the Jungle Lodges. We are considering Tahuayo Lodge. Have you ever heard anything about this place, or do you know of any others that would be highly recommended?

Hi there! I intent to visit Peru and my intention is to go down the Amazon from Pquitos to Manaus in Brazil. Are there any boats doing that? If you intent to visit Portugal (or any other european country) I'll be glad to help too if I can!
