Is there a bus direct to Singapore using the Tuas second crossing? I have a lot of luggage to carry. Alternatively, is the train running directly from Ipoh or do I have to change at KL? What about Immigration and Customs. Is it as cumbersome as Causeway one crossing to Woodland?
HI! While all Malaysian bound buses are required under SG laws to use the 2nd link, most bus entering SG from Msia still choose to enter via the Causeway.

recently took KL to Singapore with Transtar and they went through 2nd crossing and pudu raya, they were touting many buses crossing the second link, which is definitely easier. the singapore customs which you have to clear, is easy and not a bother but it will be a nuisance if you have LOTS of luggage. may I suggest something else, take a direct bus from Ipoh to JB and then take a Taxi to the location in Singapore of your choice, in this way, the bother is lessened. if you have to change buses in pudu raya in KL it is truly a pain in the neck. hope someone advises about the train crossings. check the malaysian railways website if there is a train direct from singapore to bangkok which might stop in ipoh.
