I may be moving to inuvik for a job. I am wanting to know: 1. Is a bus (transit) system there? 2. How many Hair Salons are there in town? 3. Is is safe to live in a trailer?
Do you have *any idea* how small that place is? You're in for a *huge* culture shock.

Answer to question : # 1 . Take enough money to buy a SKIDOO # 2. Get a haircut before you go # 3. Polar bears live up there . They are not afraid of anything and are very capable of killing people. Do not leave your trailer.

Actually, polar bears have an insatiable appetite for people with short hair, especially if they live in trailers or are cornered driving a Skidoo !!!
