Hi, Could some one please tell me if I should take the Speed tarins or should take the GoldenPass Route to get to Interlaken from Zurich? Will the Swiss pass work on both trains and what will be the time diffrence? Thanks.
The fast intercity train you take when you just want to get from Zürich to Interlaken as quickly as possible. This trip involves one easy change in Bern, and takes 2 hours. The Gold Pass Route you take when you want to admire the scenery. This takes a lot longer. Swiss pass is valid on both routings as it is valid on all public transport. To see the timetable go to www.sbb.ch. The trip planner on this site normally gives the fastest routing. If you want to get the Golden Pass route timings enter "via Luzern".
