I keep coming across references to horse riding on the island but am yet to find any info on how to arrange or book anything - anyone with any suggestions?
I didn't go riding while I was here, but I throughly enjoyed the island. Have a great time, it's beautiful.

It will depend on what area you are looking to ride in, first off. When you do your searches, look for Pony Trekking and Equestrian Centres. If you tell me what areas you will be in, I can look through my files and find a centre for you. Slan Beo, Bit Devine Cowboy Craic

Thanks. I'm specifically looking to go horse riding on Inishmore, which I'm hoping is where this post ended up.

I have spent a great deal of time on Inis Mor and have never heard of Pony treks offered there. I know they have the pony traps, which are a hired driver and cart. However, I have not seen any signs for trekking. I will send an email to a friend who lives on the island and ask, if you would like. Slan Beo, Bit
