Greetings! I have two extra days in my Borneo/Bali itinerary flying through Jakarta and Surabaya and cannot decide whether to spend two nights in Jakarta and skip Surabaya or spend one night only in Jakarta (have to, as flight arrives late), and then the second night in Surabaya to see the town (or skip it altogether). What do you suggest? Jakarta traffic probably won't allow me to see much in one day anyway? Is traffic in Surabaya any better and the city easy to navigate? Thank you!
i just came back from both, and yes Jakarta traffic is worse than Surabaya. I like Jakarta better thus, more interesting museums and architecture. However, if the chance of passing by there, why not one day in each. hope it helps your planning

Hi, You should in surabaya to Pangkalan Bun. 2 days in surabaya possible visit Mount Bromo or Bromo Midnight from surabaya back to surabaya continue trip to Borneo.
