Where to go?

by mimi1122 Online Now Feb 20, 2006 at 1:07 PM

A group of women in age from 28-42 are coming for a girls weekend. Where would you suggest to go out at night. We like to dance, we like music, and we like to drink. Where can we go that might fit all our different ages?
Thanks

Mimi, my answer might be coming after the fact...

Given your above criteria, I would suggest that you try the cluster of trendy nightclubs along South Meridian street near Monument Circle. The Ice Lounge at 235 S. Meridian and the nearby 6 Lounge at 247 S. Meridian and Subterra Lounge at 250 S. Meridian all offer a chic, trendy and exotic nightclub experience with adjoining dining options. There are various other nightclubs downtown scattered through downtown, and there are many live music venues, such as the Chatterbox at 435 Massachusetts Ave. for jazz and the Slippery Noodles at 372 S. Meridian St. for blues. The Ugly Monkey is a raucous and crazy bar and dance club at 50 W. South St. next to the old Union Station (train station)--it is very popular with the wild and younger crowd looking to booze it up and dance all night.
