Hello, Can you please give me an idea, on how much will the Delhi Police pre-paid taxi approximately cost, from the IGI Delhi's International Airport to Chuna Mandi - Pahar Ganj disctrict in Delhi, near the Delhi main train station? we will be 2 persons with a backpack each. 1. May not cost you more than INR 350-400/- Luggage is included in the fare. These non-A/C Ambassador car pre-paid taxis are booked from INSIDE the Terminal after you clear Immigration and Customs. The chapppie at the counter asks you your destination and takes a look at your luggage. He then determines the fare, takes the money from you and hands you a receipt. You go outside with the receipt and get into the designated cab. 2. For a Megacab or a similar A/C cab, the open counter is located OUTSIDE the Terminal. You exit the glass doors and you will see their open counter (no room or cabin; just a table, a chair and a man behind the counter). 3. As of today (Jan. 22, 2013), the Airport Metro has started functioning. Worth asking from INSIDE the Terminal where the counter for the Metro is located and whether it will take passengers back to New Delhi Railway Station. Pahar Ganj is located outside the New Delhi Railway Station. It's frequency is roughly 15 minutes, takes about 30/40 minutes for the journey and inaugural fare is INR 30/- May go up to INR 100/- Full details here: timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...

Best thing, take the metro (about Rs.70 per head), which will take u to the Delhi Main train station.
