I use to live in Imperial Beach and always try to make it out there for Sand Castles. Would you be able to tell me the dates, or at least where I could look to find out the information? Thank you very much for your help. Hillary Leon

I used to live in IB too - on Dahlia St! Anyway, I just looked it up and it was 22-24 July this year. I think it's usually around the 3rd weekend in July. Those sandcastles are phenominal; I was just showing my nephew some pictures earlier today!

Sorry, as stated earlier, the Competition this year was held July 21, 22 and 23, so you just missed it. The website for the US Open Sandcastle Competition is: members.cox.net/usopensandca...
