Hello everyone! We will be arriving in Iloilo airport on the 25th at around 5AM and leaving on the 27th at around 7:30 PM. We would like to do a daytour of Guimaras, heritage in Iloilo (Moro, Jaro, Miag-Ao) and if time allows, food tripping. I just have a couple of questions: 1. From the airport, is it better to go straight to Guimaras or just stay in Iloilo? 2. Is it possible to do Moro, Jaro, Downtown Iloilo and Miag-ao in one day? Or would it be better to just do Miag-ao on another day? Thank you in advance! :)
Since you are arriving early in the morning, you can go straight to Guimaras. I've personally done that twice, and though we spent the night in Guimaras, a day tour is also possible. If you are not staying overnight in Guimaras, I suggest you start early on your second day to go to Miag-ao. And since you're there already, go to San Joaquin's beautiful old church. On your way back to Iloilo City, drop by the old churches in the other towns (like Guimbal,etc). You can actually go around Molo (not Moro), Jaro, Downtown Iloilo in half a day, so you can reserve that on your last day. Since your return flight is in the evening, you can also go for a food trip at the seafood restaurants in Arevalo Beach or the restaurants at SM City in Mandurriao.
