Hi there! I will be travelling with 3 young adults and 1 preschool child in Macau on April 6, 2012. It's my first time here. However I plan to bring the kids to HK Disneyland on April 7-8. My questions: 1. What is a good affordable hotel near Shim Sha tsui? 2. How to go to Disneyland by MRT? 3. What is a good hotel in Macau thats near Ferry terminal. Thanks!!!! hi...thanks everyone for all the help n tips,one more question since i am goin to Macau for a day i wanna know if its possible to catch both the shows the dancing water and cirque de soleil on the same day one at 5 pm the other at 8 pm?are both the venues far away?has any fellow vter done the same?is food avbl near the venues,one show is at Hyatt and the other at Venetian.(i think)

Hi all, we are going to Macau for the weekend, on 22 April to celebrate a friend's birthday on Sat night (23rd). The birthday girl and her partner are staying at the Venetian. It looks great but its a tad expensive for us. I looked at the Best Western Taipa, and it seems to have reasonable reviews, and seems to be close enough. Is anyone familiar with these parts of Macau? Can we walk from one hotel to the other? Otherwise is it easy to get a taxi late at night? Or is it too much trouble to make it not worth staying in a different hotel? Thanks

what is the best place for dan taat in macau? i was in macau a few years ago, there was an area with a bunch of very good dan taat restaurants but i don't remember where it was. any suggestions?

hi we (me, my husband and 2 kids aged 8yrs and 15yrs) are booked for hong kong(9th oct 2010-11th oct) and macau(12th oct - 13th oct). i now see that all these days have weather prediction for rains!!! would like to know if disneyland and oceanpark are doable in the rains? also in general if it is a good time to move around as we are open to postponement of the travel plans. if its fine to travel now, please suggest some interesting things, best places to visit etc. we can do while there. thanks

Can anyone tell me which is Macau's oldest nightclub and/or Disco? What year, where is it and what music did it play? I am writing about the 1980s music scene and nightlife in Macau.
