Dirnking water a ice cubes in hotels

Hi, I know your not supposed to drink tap water and order ice cubes in your drink, avoid salads etc. But does that apply to hotels as well? My girlfriend and I are staying at a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at a four star hotel (Iberostar Phenicia) which was all inclusive and I ate salads which were fine, but we had ice cubes in our drinks and it gave me and my family bad stomach upsets. Also some sprites and cola's from our pool bar that came out of a machine had tap water in them, so we only drank fizzy from the restaurant because it came straight out of a cola bottle. So this may apply to your hotel too. Hope this helps.

Oh I thought this question was posted in the Tunisia section, but it may still apply to your hotel!

hi Ive always drank tap water and had ice cubes and never had any problems but many people have its totally up to you but if you choose not to dont forget fruit and salads are washed in local water.
