by ghimiray Online Now Jan 9, 2012 at 2:42 AM

Hi All,

Me from India and would like to get help from someone who can:

1) I wish to know that Mai Khola which flows close to Kakkarbhitta side to Nepal, does come close to Nepal Gunj anyway

2) Me Travelling to Nepal in some time, if there is only one way to reach Mai Khola from Kakkar bhitta then I would come to that side only

3) If not, it should have some other way to go as we have to perform our KUL Puja in that

You mean Maikhola in Ilam/Jhapa districts? As Indian national (?) you are not bound by the official border crossings for foreigners. Depends where you start from: east, central or west? If east, Kakabhitta is the best. For all other Indian directions I expect Biratnagar in Morang district would be best. Foreigners apart from Indians cannot cross there. Nepalgunj, if you think of the Banke city, is 24 hrs by bus away, not practical. Travel overland in India by train is faster and probably cheaper.
