Can anyone tell me where the camping ground is near Ieper? Is it walkable to town? 10-15 min Thanks Ian from Australia
Hi Ian I just looked at the website of the city of Ieper and they say that there's only 1 camping ground in Ieper : VZW JEUGDSTADION Leopold III-laan 16 8900 Ieper Tel. +32 (0) 57 21 72 82 Fax +32 (0) 57 21 61 21 E-mail: info@jeugdstadion.be Looking at the street name (king Leopold III) I don't think it's that far from the city centre, but I'm not sure. I've don't know the facilities, but it's just outside the centre, near the sport-complex. 15-minute walk to "Menen-poort". 3 minutes more for the town-hall. Check: http://www.jeugdstadion.be/ If you arrive by train, bad luck: completally on the other side of the city...but Ieper is not so big :-) Regards, Mark
