Roads after the volcano eruption

Hi, My friend and I have booked the flight and car and hotels over a month ago; we ought to be arriving to Iceland on June 5 and stay for 10 days. As we plan to take the circular road (all accomodation is booked accordingly) I'm worried about the main road: has the main road been flooded/damaged or is it intact? What is the situation in the town of Vik? All normal? From other responses I gather tourism 2010 is generally not under question? Any precautions to take anyway? Thanx for tips, M.
