Where / how do we get the bus from Lima to Huacachina? Thank you
As far as I remember there is no bus station in Huacachina. Take the bus from Lima to Ica and from there take a short taxi ride to the oasis. For buses I recommend to take the better bus companies: www.cruzdelsur.com.pe www.grupo-ormeno.com.pe

We took Cruz del Sur from Miraflores to Ica. The bus was nice and clean and we played bingo on the way there. I won a bottle of pisco sour. It is a short and cheap taxi ride from Ica. On the way back we paid a few dollars more and sat in "first class". It was much better. Very comfortable and lots of room. We were there in the off season so it was pretty quiet, but we still had a blast at the oasis. Enjoy. Tom
