Hi, Has anyone made a stop in this area and stayed for 1 or 2 nights? Any recommendations? Something mid-range, comfortable and cosy would be good. I've also read about whale watching somewhere but very briefly. Is that worth going? Thanks in advance!
Getting to Yilan: To travel from Taipei to Yilan is to board Capital Star buses at Taipei City Hall MRT Station near exit 3 and Kemalan buses at Taipei Intercity Bus Terminal. The bus travels via Freeway 5 and the 12.9km Shuehshan Tunnel. Travel time: About 45~50 mins.
