Hi All, C I understand that Ijmuiden is the best and most reasonable place in The Netherlands to buy fresh fish but can I find some on Sundays? Thanks.
Only at so-called "koop zondagen". This year at June 12, September 25, October 9, November 13 and December 18. You will be able to buy raw herring at snackbars on sundays. PJ

There are plenty and many more places to buy fresh fish than just in IJmuiden. There are a lot of places along the coast where fresh fish is brought in. Though fish will be fresh in every place in this country. Transportation time, after all, is very short. Open 7 days a week: Zeevishandel N.
