ferry travel from Split to Hvar

Is it possible to travel from Split to Hvar by ferry in the morning of Sept. 29? Most importantly, is it possible to travel from Hvar to Dubrovnik by Ferry on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010? or does one have to Ferry from Hvar to Split, then ferry to Dubrovnik? Answer at

    Hvar and Split are very well daily connected by fast catamarans. If without your own car, you have to travel to Split and then by bus to Dubrovnik,a scenic ride with many departures each day.
