Hi everybody! I'm planning to go to Hurghada this December.The only thing i'm worried about is the weather.Have you ever been to Egypt in winter?How was the weather???Was it possible to swim in the sea??? Thank you SO much for your reply!!!
I visited Hurghada for two weeks in Dec - Jan 2000. I remember it to be much colder than in summertime. In the evenings I used a sweater and from my dive log book I can see that the temperature in the sea when I was diving was 21 - 23 degrees C.

OK for information on diving, but the question really was - is it possible to swim in the see, isn`t it? That is what I would like to know, as well. Can anybody reply on that?

If it is 21 - 23 degrees C in the water it is absolutly okay to swim in the sea.

the first time i ever went to hurghada was in the beggining of dec 1997..it was beautifull weather...though the nights you will or may need a light jacket..the sea will be fine to swim in..GOD i miss hurghada so much..wish it was me going back there...you will love it im sure
