I am looking into this hotel, it advertizes private beach and chairs? What that means in Hua Hin, that they have the resort chairs on the beach for their guests? Also, this is close to Sofitel Centara where there are rocks on the water, is the case for Banyan as well? Please share your experiences. best regards Sukhumvit
Sofitel As i know it, the beach is in front of the hotel and the area on the hotel grounds is a few steps up where there is a sun area, fifty yards back begins the pool area where you can see the beach and then that area is surrounded by the hotel. There are hotel guards and employees that watch over the area. during the day there are horseback riders on the beach as well as vendors. Sofitel Centara is closer to the public access area to the beach and the town,so you will see more people. Baan Banyan is further south from town and more private, but i rather stay in the sofitel because I can walk right into town and the night market. Their bar at night is hopping too and there is more activity. If you like it quiet, maybe look into the Sheraton resort closer to Cha Am. Most resorts, and hotels north of Hua Hin really have their own private beaches because it is harder for the public to access them in a remote area. they have been developeing a lot of new hotels and resorts like the Sheraton. Enjoy Hua Hin, one of my favorite area in Thailand. cheers tommy x
