Metro Direct from Airport to Downtown

The Metro Direct bus from the airport to downtown looks pretty good. It's a 45 minute ride that costs4.50 (versus estimated44- for a taxi). Anyone used this before? This may be the way to visit museums and stay over during layover in Houston...

I have used the Metro Direct many times and it is very good service but it will be discontinued on Sunday Aug. 21st. There is another bus that goes from the airport to downtown and take about 30 minutes longer because it goes thru and makes stops in the Greenspoint area. Bus 102 I think, check www.ridemetro.org
