Hello, my family will be coming to Jamaica in 2 weeks time staying at Hilton Rose Hall, Montego Bay. we have our children with us aged, 7 and 6 year olds. as we are trying to make this an educational trip as well as a holiday, is it possible to arrange a short school visit as an experience for the children to experience their culture in a local school and also would like to attend a sunday morning service at pentecostal church if possible. Please help me with the attractions and things to do in Jamaica.

My husband and I have been to Aruba (which we love), and St. Maarten (which was ok), and the resorts we stayed at were not all inclusive. We are very interested in visiting Jamaica, but we prefer to explore islands, eat at different restaurants, and of course relax on the beach - so we aren't all inclusive people. I have read online that Jamaica is safe (just use common sense), and the locals are super friendly, but then you hear through word of mouth that Jamaica is not that safe. Would Jamaica be for us to visit, even if we decide to not do all inclusive? Thanks in advance for your help!
