We are heading to Waikiki in April for a week after getting off a cruise and would like to know where we can purchase gluten free food as well as eating in restaurants that will provide or alter the menu to suit people with coelics. Does anyone have any ideas for us?
Was looking at several on-line posts for Honolulu on gluten free places and this one seems the best. Here is the link; yelp.com/search?find_desc=Gl... Some of the others just indicate restaurants that may have one gluten free item on the menu.

Believe it or not Oahu has Whole Foods. yelp.com/biz/whole-foods-mar... Looking at the google map I can see it's kinda outside of Waikiki area. But I'd think if you have a car a visit to the market at the beginning of the stay will be worth it.

We love the Waikiki Prac hotel but you have to get a room above about the 10th floor and on the ocean side. more
