Hotels in Kowloon/ HK weather/HK disneyland

My family (5 in our group) will be in Hongkong around first week of May 2012, What is the weather like at this time? Our initial stay will be in Kowloon side for 2 to 3 days. I'm also looking for a hotel that is affordable, since we need 2 rooms(most hotels do not allow 4 to 5 in a room) but convenient near malls and the harbor as we are traveling with our elderly parents and 1 child. I've been checking out Harbor metropolis, Kowloon hotel, Park hotel. What do you think and do you have any suggestions. Next stop is HK disneyland: Hollywood Hotel or HK Disneyland Hotel? Thank you very much
