hi, going to honduras for the holidays. my flight back to ny is on jan 1st at 7:30am, which means i have to be there at 5:30am!! wanted to have a good new years eve, but looks like i may be limited to san pedro?! is it safe there? I am a bit worried as i am a 33year old girl traveling solo. does anyone have any suggestions of a closer (safer) town where there would be transportation (taxi?) to the airport really early in the morning? or where in san pedro i should stay/celebrate new years eve? i prefer hostels.. i was looking at the Tamarindo Hostel.. but got an email from them saying they are closed for the xmas/new years holiday. thanks for your help!
