Can anyone recommend a modern hotel near Cardiff Central station but nevertheless, quiet? I'm coming in August for one night, to visit the Dr Who Experience, but I think the hotel would be more conveniently placed near the station, rather than near the Bay, as after visiting the exhibition it would be more useful to be in the city centre.
Other than Cardiff and Swansea, what sights should I see when driving around Wales. Mainly I am interested in picturesque villages.

Hello all, I am going to Manchester this June and planning to hire a car and drive to Holyhead. From there, plan to take ferry trip to Dublin but is it possible to bring the car to Dublin ? If not, where is the safest place to park the car ? Thanks. :)

Hello, Would it be best to rent a car in Dublin and drive to Wales for 4 days and then return to Shannon Air port or ferry over, rent in Holleyhead and drop off there? I don't know anything about the local car rental / insurance regulations and would like to make it easy on myself. Any thoughts on this and links would be helpful! Bill
Hi, has anyone ever taken the National Express coach from Oxford which arrives at 1:25 at night? Are there B&Bs close by? Is it safe to walk there? Well lit? I don't think Holyhead is such a big town that there are many people around in the middle of the night, so I'm not sure if I shouldn't stay overnight somewhere else and take an earlier coach. I'd appreciate any advice. Christine
