ONE NIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD

by MPTCOOK Online Now Jul 4, 2007 at 10:29 PM

I WILL BE SPENDING ONE NIGHT IN LA ON MY WAY TO PALM SPRINGS. I HAVE TWO TEENAGE DAUGHTERS AND WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT A HOTEL WHERE THEY CAN SEE THE MOST THAT THEY CAN IN ONE DAY. DO YOU HAVE A SUGGESTION OF A HOTEL LOCATION THAT EITHER HAS A COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE TO SOME OF THE ATTRACTIONS OR IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE HALL OF FAME. I AM SO WORRIED THAT THEY WONT WANT TO LEAVE HOLLYWOOD WITHOUT DOING SOME FUN STUFF BUT WE HAVE UNCANCELABLE RESERVATIONS IN PALM SPRINGS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

The Hall of WHAT Fame? Hollywood is pretty much a trashy place without a plan to see Stars (imbedded) on the sidewalk for teens or Manns Chinese Theatre that they probably have no knowledge of its History

I stayed at the Renaissance which is part of the Hollywood and Highland center, which houses the Kodak Theater where they have the Oscars, and next to Grauman's Chinese Theater. Great hotel. Great location. Pricey, though.

We stayed at the Hollywood Metropolitan ,which was an ok hotel for one night. We walked from there to the Walk of fame and the Chinese Theatre and it only took a short while. Also from the hotel restaurant on the top floor you get a good view of the Hollywood sign.We picked up a tour bus at the Theatre and did the Beverly Hills star homes tour .
