Am planning to visit these 3 places in 5 days.

Fly into Danang may stay 2 nites @ Sandy Bay. Any comments on hotel or other recommendation ?

Take Day trip to Hoi An. Resort has shuttle into Danang town - but how do we get the bus to HA? Are there express-bus (abt U$3)?
Do we need to buy ticket early or it is ok to get on day itself ?
Any site for bus schedule? Can we get round trip ticket?
Suggest day program in HA ? Or shd we just hire a driver for the day to HA?

After leaving Danang plan to take Express Train to Hue ? Again do we need to get train ticket earlier or on day itself?

Any hotel (3*) to recommend in HA & Hue ? Those with site to pre-book wld B good.

HA has many tailors - what abt read-made wear - any honest shops.

And sight & food.

In Danang I stay at Minh Travel Hotel on Tran Phu Street near Hung Vuong Street, one street from the Han Market. Across the street is Cool Spot Pizza/Bar. A local bus (yellow) heads south on Tran Phu and goes to Hoi An every 30 minutes for under1.00. They may try to charge more so make sure you have the correct change. At the bus station in Hoi An ask a moto taxi driver to take you to Vu Thu Cloth Shop (tailors) at 299 Nguyen Duy Hieu Street (863-975) Van and Trung speak English and the family is very honest. One of their neighbours (also named Thu ?) custom-makes shoes. Vu Thu will also point you in the right direction for a walking tour of the ancient town and recommend a nice but reasonable hotel. For tours and tickets go to Mr. Tung Travel on Cua Dai Street, a two street walk from Vu Thu. His prices are listed and he doesn't rip off tourists. Tell him Brian sent you. In Hue, go to Cafe on Thu Wheels (also named Thu !) and the proprietor will help you find a good hotel at the end of the alleyway on her street, can't remember the name. Her brother's motorbike tours are great and the best way to see tombs.

    Good luck and enjoy !!!
