What is the best method of transportation from the Newark airport to Hoboken, NJ
NJ Transit train is the way to go. It is a short ride, but you have to take 3 different trains (!!). First the monorail from the EWR terminals to Newark Airport Rail Station, then change to a NJ Transit train to Secaucus Junction station, then change to another NJ Transit train to Hoboken. www.njtransit.com

"Best" depends on your definition. Taxi is the best for ease and comfort. Travelmad's response is for cost. Totally depends.

Yes, I agree, a taxi would be a lot simpler. That's not usually the answer people want, though :-)
