Hi , may be you can help us, we are travelling next week to Durban and staying there for a couple of days and then hiring a game in Hluluwe for 3 days , on the next day we wanted to drive to the Drakensberg mountains to be able to see something different, beach - game - mountains.... do you know if we need to take the malaria pills? we only have this week and next week before the weekend so we the time is running out...
do you know also how long would it take us to drive from Hluluwe to the Drakensberg mountains and from there back to Durban ? as our plan was to drive back to Durban on the day we have to fly back to London.

We are planning to visit Umfolozi and Hluhluwe National Parks and would appreciate comments on the Hilltop game lodge
Does anyone have experience with walking safaris in Hluhluwe - Umfolozi park? If so, do you have any advice? Was it good? Any one trip that is better than others? Thanks

Hi there! I am planning on staying at Hilltop Camp after spending a night in Swaziland (en route from Kruger). I was wondering if anyone knows approx how much time I should allot for driving from Mkhaya Reserve (near Big Bend), Swaziland, to get to Hluhluwe. Always hard to tell from a map, as one can't account for driving speed, etc. Thanks!
