I will visit Prague for three days and I don't want to pay for parking 27 €/day in the centre. Where to park cheaper in south Prague? Perhaps somewhere around one of the metro station. What is the price per day/ per three days?

I am planing to travel night train with my family in Agust.How can I praticaly buy tickets from internet online?
I have searched cd.cz. but I can't undaestand clearly.If I buy from tickets this site, the reservasitons are certain?
And also do you advice this journey at night? Or bus? Another alternative?

A colleague of mine has plans to visit Prague in just two weeks, June 22, for a few days and then head south towards the Croatia coast.
I said that I would probably skip the Prague part and just head down to Dalmatia due to the present flooding situation. These are record-setting floods as I understand it and I can't imagine that Prague would be in great shape in just two weeks. Anyone have actual info though? Someone who is there now?
Would you advise that she keeps her original schedule or reconsider?

We have two nights so trying to visit avery bar and club isn't viable. Therefore I am in search of the biggest and most exclusive clubs in Prague.

I would like to find accommodation (1 week) in an area that is easy to get around ie - things to see, food, bus, train - and of course safety. I am not planning on spending a ton of money on hotel. I am looking for a self-catering apartment in a good area. thank you

I have a full extra day in Prague and I'm trying to decide which castles to go visit. I will have a car. The ones that have gotten my attention are:
- Karlstejn
- Kriviklat
- Kokorin
- Konopiste

I think I can probably get two of these done in my extra day. But they all look beautiful.

Any particular recommendation on which ones to see?

Hi, my name is Francesco and I am an italian boy. Next summer I am going to Prague with my girlfriend. We had never stayed there and I'd like say that we should visit. We'll stay ther since 8 august to 13. Five days are enough to visit Prague quietly?

ok - so here is "one of those questions". I have previously traveled to Prague from Munich via Nuremberg during the summer, and found very few people traveling in the train. The Nuremberg station (possibly not a main station as it was small) - had some rough teenagers hanging around.

We will be in Germany this December and was looking at taking a side trip to Prague - but have no idea what is the situation taking a train from Dresden - as I'd rather not go thru Nuremberg. I noticed most connections in the Die Bahn site went thru Nuremberg - unless we went to Dresden first.

Anyhow - what can we expect in the journey from Dresden to Prague as far as safety?

Also - is there a reliable ATM in the train station as we'll only have Euros.

This may seem like a strange request, but every new city that I go to I try to find an accessible rooftop that I can get on to and get some great pics from high up. I know that Prague has a couple of official options for attractions with a view, but can anyone give me clues on where I might be able to get an unofficial view of the city from a rooftop??

I would also be interested in recommendations on where to go to get the best city-scape views!

Having just returned from Prague after 5 visits I could not help notice how quiet it is, Charles Bridge 4- 6 stalls, no music, Restaurants empty, bars quite, or is it the time of year, are tourists moving on to newer destinations, or are the prices catching up with everything. what do the locals think!!!

Hi all, Three girlfriends and I are visiting Prague next Saturday and while we think we have the usual sights covered as part of our 4 day itinerary, thanks to all of you who have posted tips on VT, we wondered if anyone can tell us if there are any pleasant casinos we might visit. We're all travelling light, so we won't have any swanky clothes, but thought it might be fun to try our luck if there is somewhere which will let us in wearing casual clothes, but at the same time isn't too down at heel. We're staying near Wenceslas Square. Thanks in advance for any help you can give :)

i will be traveling to Prague on the night of 23 Nov and spend the whole day in there, travel to Budapest in the evening, and either stay at a hostel in Budapest or sleep on the bus/ train, sped a half-day in Budapest and then travel back to Krakow on the afternoon of 25 Nov. It's a tight squeeze but it's all the time I have: 1. Is this doable? 2. do you recommend bus or train for this journey Krakow- Prague - Budapest - Krakow? what reliable bus line would you recommend if by bus 3. what is the website for the trains 4.
