I know that there are meal packages you can buy at Hexham Races, but I am trying to understand what the food options are if you don't pre-purchase one of these packages. Are you able to have a reasonable sit down meal anywhere? Any help from somebody who has been there would be fantastic.
Night clubs are defined as glorified Bars/Discos where to be honest over 55 yo are not the norm.
Is there a club venue in Portsmouth where you can go have a meal a caberet or some entertainment/ dancing / music where I would enjoy and not feel like the oldest swinger in town??
Is it possible to walk to monkey island from boulters lock and if so is it easy to find?
As I was searching for accommodations in Isle of Man during the TT race week, everything seems to be more or less booked. So, I got an idea to stay in say, Liverpool and do day trips with the ferry to Douglas to see the race, and go back to Liverpool to stay for the night. Does anyone have any experience on something like this or what's your opinion on this. There's two of us and we'd be without a vehicle.
HI there, I am keen to find out about festivals or events or forums being held in Europe that have an "alternative lifestyle" focus, especially environmental or human-rights related (and music too!). We will be traveling from late May to early August. Anyone know of anything inspiring? Thanks! Freya
My boyfriend and I are flying to Heathrow on different flights, I am staying in the UK and he will be getting a connecting flight out. I arrived at T3 and he on T5, is it possible for me to collect my luggage, not go through customs, but instead go to T5 to meet him for a few hours before he gets his next flight, meaning me going through customs and declarations at T5?
We are 2 girls from Spain and Italy currently living and working in London for a few months.
We want to visit different places around UK, so we will go tomorrow to Dover. We would like to meet someone from here who can explain us the beautiful city and have fun. Does anyone free tomorrow to meet with us?
Hi! We're going to London for a weekend from the 28th Feb. We'd like to see one of the big shows, such as The Commitments, The Lion King og Phantom of the Opera. We're wondering if we should book tickets in advance or bank on getting discounted tickets on the day at the booth in Leicester Square. Do you think we're likely to get tickets to one of the big shows or are we likely to stand there and not get tickets? I know you can't guarantee anything, but we just want to know what is likely. Any suggestions?
My friend and I are arriving at terminal 5 on 2 different domestic flights a half hour apart, can i wait upon landing for them to arrive before going through flight connections to get our international flight, also terminal 5. Or will I have to meet them at the gate.
I have around half-a-day to spend in and around Birmingham this weekend. Please let me know any ideas to spend the time. I also have my wife and 2 daughters (aged 8 & 5) travelling with me and any attractions for kids will also be useful.
