Moving to Herzliya

by egillon Online Now Feb 11, 2007 at 2:55 AM

Hi, I'm moving to Herzliya, but having real trouble finding rental properties that aren't insanely expensive. Also, real lack of websites apart from real estate agents (with the aforementioned insanely expensive apartments).

Can anyone tell me a good place to start looking for a long term sub let in this area?

There are plenty of websites, only most of them are in Hebrew. For example: http://www.homeless.co.il

If you'll send me some info about what you're looking for, I will try to translate some relevant entries from these sites.

Thanks, but I will really need to be able to check sites on a regular basis, as I'm not entirely sure when I'll be moving, and have quite specific needs. Thanks for the offer though. No problem as my dad reads Hebrew. I'll muddle through!

Sorry I'm not writing to help... I'm writing for help...
I'm in the same situation as you (need a place in Herzliya) - but in my case its just for July (07) or perhaps also Aug (07). Budget is small (I'm coming to Israel to attend a crazy expensive academic program and I'm a student w/ limited funds). Let me know what you find out - or if you found a website in English (my hebrew is about grade-school level).
Hey - thanks alot, and good luck to you too.
