I'm planning on traveling to Helsinki at the end of May in 2013. We've found a round-trip airfare for740 USD. This is my first time ever traveling outside the States, so I'm very much a "noob" to traveling. Is740 USD a good price for a round-trip flight to Helsinki? Thanks a bunch!

Not sure where you're flying from but that sounds like an excellent RT price to Europe at this time. I recently flew from LA to Dusseldorf and was thrilled to have found a fare for960.

I'll be flying out of Cincinnati, OH (CVG). The flight is Cincinnati, OH -> Toronto, Canada -> Frankfurt, Germany -> Helsinki Thanks for the replies!

Sorry, you are looking for flights way too early. To find best prices on flights for next May, you need to look much later this year. I would say eariest time would be next December or January. You might be able to get prices now, but not all airlines will quote until later. When it becomes time, try KAYAK which looks at most all airlines(Except one or two) Zero in on a Tuesday and use the plus or minus 3 day feature if you have flexible schedule. Then after seeing what you want, book directly with airline.

BTW, don't cast in concrete any route such as you mentioned unless you have plans to stay in a particular place while in route. CVG to Toronto may not be the best route when you look up flights. For comparison you could also look at "skyscanner", but that site does not have + - 3 day feature.
