I'm coming from Australia and will be in Heidelberg in Jan. How would I be able to get maps of the bus, tram and train routes around Heidelberg before I leave
The local transport network is VRN. Here's their website: http://www.vrn.de/ Not everything is shown in English, though, only the timetables. "Linienpläne" is what you to click to get to the maps. This will show you the local routes, in and around Heidelberg. For cities farther away it's bahn.de
