River cruise moorings

Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to sightsee around Heidelberg within walking distance of the moorings for the River Cruise boats. We shall be there in August on the MS Heinrich Heine.

Yes. Actually very close to the old city (Altstadt). ww2.heidelberg.de/Altstadt-I... The streets in light brown are pedestrian zones.
