Is it Kjelvik or Honnigsvag as or Cruise line says and

      Kjelvik Apr 12, 2015 at 3:48 PM

Because, Virtual Tourist doesn't list Honnigsvag as a city/town what is here?. Are there local tour companies or City tour buses to book? What is recommended to see in the area or just a walk through the city/town? The cruise line offers tours, though we certainly want to consider other local options. All comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello VT! I'm arriving in Osolo airport from Fort Lauderdale and then departing Oslo to Bangkok, my question is do you personally think 1hour 25 min is a decent amount of time to catch my bangkok flight? I have zero checked bags. Only carry on. I just want to know what to expect.

Also, does Oslo airport have free wifi?
      Any advice is appreciated.

      Foo Fighters tickets.

      Oslo Apr 16, 2015 at 10:39 AM

Hi everyone! I need a little help here. I've bought 1 ticket for Foo Fighters concert in Oslo. It happens that I wont be able to go. I would like to know if there is some appropriate site where I can sell it. Is a papper ticket (not an e-ticket) and sell it cheaper than I bought. If someone can help me with that. I send an image with the proof of pursache where appears "Delivery charges" that demonstrate that is a papper ticket.
      Best regards,

      10 days in Norway

      Norway Mar 31, 2015 at 7:18 PM

Hi. I'm just starting to plan 10 days in Norway for June 2015. Last minute and not sure where to go or what to do. We love the natural beauty: mountains, lakes, water, and the small villages and towns instead of big cities. We want to see the fjords by boat for only a day or two, ride the flam, all without renting a car. So, is public transportation an option? are there day cruises in the fjords from where? I'd love suggestions about what towns to see, stay in, and everything you want to suggest. Thank you!

We have booked accommodation in the city but are willing to stay on route if we can figure out a multiple day hike. Costings

by mccrorj Online Now Jun 2, 2007 at 11:07 AM

I have just read the costs of basic items in Oslo and was wondering if they are comparable with Haugesund. Having never travelled in Norway I was keen to visit but a little daunted by the costs suggested for Oslo. I'm looking for cheapish hotel and ideas for food prices, clearly an idea of how much a beer is likely to cost would be appreciated. The last question I had was about transport, can anyone advise me how easy it is to make the journey from the airport to either Haugesund itslef or alternatively to Bergen.

      Hi,

I'm going to Haugesund for 2 nights in January.

      1) Can you tell me what are the interesting things to do or visit there? I only have 2 days to go around, and don't have a car. So, I'm just thinking about the city center area (anywhere within walking distance or short bus ride).

      2) I heard about the Viking Village, how do I get there and is it worth a visit?

      Thanks for your help..

      Hi All
We are flying into Haugesund in late August for 2 nights and are interested in seeing Glaciers, pulpit or Preekstoel and Kayaking. We are really keen on spending a day up a fjord kayaking but cant seem to find anyone hiring kayaks out. We are not particularly fussed if we don't stay in Haugesund so if you can suggest a good campsite or B&B that is central to our interests that would be great. Local area maps anyting would be good.
Take care of yourselves and thanks for your responses in advance.
