Snow fall

When does snow usually start falling in Harbin? I'm planning a trip there in Dec 2002 and hope to see real snow (especially my 7 year old son). We are not able to travel in Jan/Feb because his school term will start then.

    The nearby ski resort at Yabuli is a fun day trip with cheap ski rentals. My very first skiing experience was at Yabuli, which was also the site of a recent Asian Winter Games. You can bet your boots there will be snow in December.
