My wife and I are going to do a road trip around Oregon in September for our anniversary and are looking for suggestions of nice places to stay in the Mount Hood area. We won't be bringing camping gear, so looking for a nice little hotel or B&B in the area with good views and opportunities for hiking and nature.

I would to go on a cruise on the Mediterranean. Because of age, that's no problem, I would appreciate advise so I don't lose valauble time on a less than satisfactory trip. Also, I have always traveled solo. Has ayone had experience sharing cabin with a stranger? It costs so much for a single. Thanks.June
