S-Bahn Hannover to Hildesheim?

Aloha! Is there an S-Bahn that connects Hannover (near central train station) to Hildesheim (train station or specifically Noah Cafe am Hohnsensee)? During October I am visiting friends both in Hannover and Hildesheim and want to decide whether to stay the entire time in Hannover and "commute" to Hildesheim or to stay some days in Hildesheim and some days in Hannover. If there is such a connection via S-Bahn, how much does it cost? Vielen Dank im Vorraus. Ric
