Hi, I am looking for a place in Hannover that is open all night on a Saturday to Sunday night and allows me to sit in the warmth until my train departs at 6 am from Hbf. McD's, a Turkish restaurant, etc. I thought about going to the airport, but at the time the concert ends that I am attending there will be no S-Bahn to the airport and I cannot afford a taxi, much less a hotel. The two youth hostels in Hannover are both full already. Thanks.

According to the home page of Deutsche Bahn you will find a Mc Donald's and a bistro called "Damisch" at the main station of Hannover which both are open 24 h.

Elena, thanks for that. It took me a while to find the part of bahn.de with the train station info, but finally I found it. I only hope this info is correct, I was at Hannover Hbf a few times overnight within the last 10 years, I cannot remember there ever a shop or bistro being open.
