Just 5 Hours in Hanover......What to do?

Hello all, My plans have recently changed and I am now going to be in Hanover for just one morning. My flight arrives at 11pm on friday night and my train leaves at 1pm the next day, so I really dont have much time. Please can you suggest what I must see in Hanover in just one morning? Also, What is the best way to get to a hotel in Hanover from the airport at around midnight? I hear that the train is good, but how much does this cost and is it safe around the station on a night?
