I am going to Malta in May and would like to have a better idea about the crowd in Malta in May as I haven't booked a hotel yet and haven't decided in which part of the island to stay. In summer I would probably avoid to stay and sleep in St Julians and Peaceville but maybe at this time of the year is not so crowded and more bearable at nights to sleep in. Would love to be a walk from the main pubs, bars & nightlife scene though! Have to celebrate my birthday in there!!! Where can i have a nice party with nice but not too young people? I am turning 39 this year!! ;-)
I am excited to spend my 50th birthday in the country of my birth during the last week of May. My boyfriend is kindly tagging along but he is a keen yachtsman and I would like to see if we can charter a sailing yacht for a day. Does anyone know of a local company or private rental?
I have often thought of going to Malta during the winter for more than 2 weeks, 2 months would be a dream. So my question is about where to stay, How would I go about finding a flat to rent that would not cost the earth ?
Does anyone know how much the ferry is one way to Sicily ? I have been on VIrtu ferries website and cannot imagine the price really is 90-100 euro for a one way 60 mile trip? Or am I wrong ?
