I'm organising a girls weekend to Hamburg in August and am looking for some fun and exciting things we can do on the Sunday and Monday. Although wandering around Hamburg, seeing the sights, shopping etc would be OK, I would also like to arrange something a bit different too. Is there anything nearby that will get our adrenalin going? Zip-lining perhaps or something similar? We're happy to travel out of Hamburg (although not so far that we waste all our time travelling)but we won't have a car. We are your average 40+ year olds so not really into clubbing anymore but like a good dance and to have a good, laughter filled night out. Here in the UK a couple of us do ceroc dancing which is a mixture of jive and salsa - is there anything similar in Hamburg? Any ideas for good but in-expensive restaurants? I'm looking for quirky ideas that will make our trip unusual and memorable.
You check this: www.kletterwald-hamburg.com The biggest fun park in North Germany should be the Heide Park. I could imagine that there are transfers from HH. www.heide-park.de Zoo - not that much of adventure but it's nice also with a big aquaworld. www.hagenbeck.de Not just for boys - I love this: www.miniatur-wunderland.de/anlage For a little horror: www.the-dungeons.de There is a dialog in the dark museum in HH: www.dialogue-in-the-dark.com Best Chris.
