I am looking for ideas on where to stay in or near Half Moon Bay California for 2 nights - tent camping or weekend rental under100 a night!

For tent camping try Half Moon State Beach Francis Beach has 52 campsites. They're on a reservation system. parks.ca.gov/default.asp?pag...

Try the youth hostel - http://www.norcalhostels.org/pigeon/, I think you can get a room for around100, or a bed for25.
