Travelling alone-a number of questions

Hi guys, I'm considering an option of travelling to Hainan (Sanya) alone. Thus, a number of questions appears: 1 Is it safe, eg to walk around in the evening for a young lady in Sanya and Dadunhai(sorry for incorrect spelling). 2 are credit cards accepted there? Or shall I take cash with me? 3 Language. Do Chinese speak English? Russian? 4 How's the weather at the moment and water (sea) temperature? Thanx in advance for replies!
