we are planing to go to amaranth, the reporting date is on 19th July morning before 8 am. we leave Bangalore on 15th July morning and reach Srinagar on the same day by 3 pm. i need information of local travel. and the important places to see and the budget accommodation.

How is alcohol priced? Like in Sikkim a full bottle of brandy costs you Rs.120 where as in West Bengal the same brand is Rs 400+

We are planning a trip from Kathmandu to Leh in the middle of May. We want to see as much as possible for that small time pdriod and we are going to capture everything with our cameras.

Are horses available to go to Al Pather Lake...? Is it feasible with two children (9 and 4 years)...? Any idea on the rates for the horses? How long does this take?
Hey friends, I am planning Srinagar-Gulmarg(2days)-Pahalgam(3days)-Srinagar in June 2011. Can some1 plz tell me how to commute from gulmarg to pahalgam? As in will I be able to find a cab from Gulmarg or do i compulsarily have to retain d one I take from Srinagar for Gulmarg for 2 days? Likewise, will I be able to find a cab from Pahalgam for srinagar as well? Plz reply soon.
